Choreographers from YYC
NextGen Dance YYC is accepting choreographer applications from YYC for the 2024 NextGen Dance Film Festival.
Details
- Applicants must be 18+ at the time of application and featured dancer(s) in the film must be between 9-19.
- Apply with as many projects as you like. Films must be completed to apply, at least 4 minutes, not including credits.
- Video content and music must be appropriate for all-ages events.
- Movement can be in any style.
- Choreographers can be from studios, training programs, companies or applying as an independent artist.

About NextGen Dance Projects
NextGen Dance Projects (Est. 2021) is a youth-focused initiative providing dance training through the NextGen Company and opportunities coinciding with pursuing a career in the movement arts. Co-directed by Christahh Ahh and Sean Butler, NextGen was established to provide pre-professional experiences for young dancers to connect with the broader arts community including live performance opportunities, the NextGen Dance Film Festival and working with local industry professionals!
