Call for Public Art Proposals

Location: Okotoks, Alta.
Deadline to submit: March 31, 2024

Alberta artists are invited to submit proposals for opportunities that will help enhance the visual appeal and cultural richness of the charming, friendly and unique community of Okotoks.

They include:

  • Stampede and winter holiday window murals | Municipal Centre
  • 2024 Safe Pathways murals | Nine Locations
  • Indigenous-themed mural | Arts & Learning Campus Plaza
  • Elevator door murals | Rotary Performing Arts Centre
  • Beautiful bins | Recreation Centre

We acknowledge that the land we gather on, Mohkinsstsis, is the ancestral territory of the Siksikaitsitapi — the Blackfoot people — comprising the Siksika, Kainai and Piikani Nations, as well as Treaty 7 signatories, the Tsuut’ina Nation and the Îyârhe Nakoda Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney First Nations.
