Call for Entry: Contemporary Weaving

The traditions of weaving run deep and encompass many different materials and forms. Cultures from around the globe have incorporated woven objects into daily life as functional and expressive objects such as baskets, screens, cloth, and carpets. We are seeking contemporary examples of this ancient method of making. Your submission may draw on traditional inspiration or be experimental in technique or material. Submissions are not limited to traditional fibre media; we encourage artists working across all craft disciplines to apply.
Eligibility
Artists who are current Alberta residents, and Canadian residents outside of Alberta who hold an Alberta Craft membership, are eligible to apply.
