Open Call Audition

Join us for auditions for FlipSide’s exciting new musical Good As Gold: The Tales of The Happy Prince and The Fisherman and His Wife by award-winning Filipino playwright Jaime Del Mundo!
Good As Gold is a captivating musical perfect for young audiences and families, featuring two timeless children’s stories. The Fisherman and His Wife follows the journey of a disgruntled wife and her husband who encounter a magical flounder that changes their lives forever, while The Happy Prince explores the adventures of a golden statue and a swallow who learns the most valuable lessons about love and sacrifice.
Audition Requirements:
- Prepare 1 song from any musical of your choice
- Bring your own score (to be played by our pianist) or
- Any device to play your instrumental or
- Sing a Capella
First Day of Rehearsal: April 30, 2024 every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 – 10pm, Saturdays from 10am – 6pm
Performance Dates: June 15 and 16, 2024
