Job Description
We seek a concession bartender for our upcoming shows, events and upcoming season! We are looking for someone to be an integral part of our team, ensuring that every guest enjoys top-notch service and delectable refreshments during their visit. Your primary responsibility will be to operate our concession bar efficiently and provide exceptional customer service to all patrons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, snacks and other refreshments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the concession bar area, including restocking supplies.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system, handling cash and card payments with precision.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions about concession items, and alcohol offerings.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding restocking needs and product shortages.
- Uphold theatre policies and procedures, including compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a fast-paced environment such as a theatre, restaurant, or bar.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse range of guests in a positive and courteous manner.
- An up to date and active ProServe.
- Excellent multitasking abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions accurately.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required by the theater’s event schedule.
