Jean Gole

Jean Gole is an illustrator born, raised, and currently based in Treaty 7 Territory. He graduated from the Alberta University of the Arts with a Bachelor of Design in illustration and an animation minor in 2023. He works in mixed media, combining various digital and traditional means. His main inspirations are nature, dreams, folklore, and the people he encounters in daily life. The work is often colourful and a little abstracted, playing with textures and transparencies. Through his art he seeks to offer a little magic and fun into everyday life.
