Box Office Coordinator

Pay: $19 per hour

Job Summary

Responsible for all customer-facing activities related to in-person and online ticketing services for the general public as well as executing the internal processes surrounding processing ticket sales and memberships, both at the festival box office and on-site at any events.

Job Description:

  • Supervising multiple aspects of the box office operations that include, but are not limited to, daily scheduling, directing and training of seasonal staff in conjunction with the operations manager.
  • Understanding the box office ticketing selling platforms, including seating manifests, inventory controls, financial reporting, etc.
  • Implementation of the box office policies and procedures designed by the operations manager and the operations director.
  • Assist operations manager with hiring and development of training protocols and documents for seasonal staff.
  • Analyzing customer and sales data.
  • Resolving customer service complaints relating to box office operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1 – 3 years of ticketing experience and customer service.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, cash handling and scheduling.
  • Self-motivated, capable of independent reasoning and troubleshooting.
  • Possess the ability to work reliably and responsibly, both independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Direct experience supervising and organizing team members.
  • Excellent organizational skills including the ability to multi-task.
  • A high attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Enthusiastic.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Approximate Work Hours:

  • July 16 – 31, 2024: 24 hours a week
  • August 1 – 15, 2024: 32 hours a week
  • August 16 – September 15, 2024: 40 hours a week
  • September 16 – 31, 2024: 45 hours a week
  • October 1– 15, 2024: 16 hours a week

Location of Work: This job is hybrid, with a significant amount of in-person office work required. For further details, please reach out to our hiring team.
