LOUD Art Society
We are looking for an operational space!
LOUD Art Society is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to enhancing mental health through art and creative practices, our mission is to provide affordable access to therapeutic arts services to at risk youth, newcomers and vulnerable individuals.
Our award-winning organization has been serving the community since 2015 and we have successfully completed multiple community projects such as murals and have impacted over 1800 participants in Calgary and area through our services. We became a registered charity in 2023. We have been offering our services at the facility of the partnering organizations, online or as a pop-up however, the need for our services has grown significantly, and we are seeking a space that will allow us to expand our reach and enhance the support we provide to those in need and those who wish to receive our services directly from us.
We are looking for a property at a central location, ideally suited to our needs. We believe that having a physical location will not only benefit our current operations but also make our services more accessible to the community we aim to serve.
Our requirements for the space include:
A suitable studio space is essential to facilitate the programs and services. The size would need to accommodate the number of participants (max 20), facilitators, and required materials, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal therapeutic experience. Estimate space requirements are approx. 800 sq feet.
Amenities required: kitchen, bathroom, storage, internet access. Some parking spaces and access to public transportation is preferred.
We are open to innovative ideas for space leasing, renting, sharing, hosting, etc.
We are confident that our presence at any property will be mutually beneficial. Our organization brings a positive impact to the community, and we are committed to maintaining a space that is respectful and well-kept. We believe that a partnership with another business or organization would be ideal and would enable us to continue making a difference and contributing to the well-being of the community.
