This position is full-time, with regular hours of 8am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday. Opportunities for overtime arise based on project volumes.
Identity Ink is a dog-friendly workplace; dogs ranging from 10 – 80 lbs are onsite most days.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Accurately completing work orders, and documenting progress. Maintaining communication with management to relay progress and concerns.
- Operating flatbed and roll-to-roll large format digital printers.
- Operating machinery related to finishing, including laminators, slitter, and contour cutter.
- Laminating, cutting, and trimming digitally printed and off-the-roll films.
- Mounting films on various substrates.
- Digital colour matching per client specifications.
- Ongoing quality control.
- Packaging materials for shipping and coordinating via FedEx, courier, and customer pickup.
- Receiving product.
- Tracking and tracing active shipments.
- Maintaining worksite cleanliness and safety, including equipment maintenance.
- Other duties as directed by the operations manager.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in large-format printing and/or manufacturing is an asset.
- Forklift certification/experience is an asset. Forklift operation is required in this position.
- Comfortable using various computer programs related to work duties.
- Able to lift up to 50lb.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong commitment to excellence and quality of service.
- High school diploma.
