Artists in Residence Program

Since spring 2019, the Artists in Residence Program has been run in partnership with International Avenue Arts & Culture Centre (IAACC) iaacc.ca/initiatives and Fuse33 Makerspace fuse33.com/artists-in-residence.
It has supported over 50 artists by helping expand their skills in order to cultivate their artistic practice.
The program provides opportunities for artists to develop new disciplines that enhance their portfolio.
Selected artists receive a full three month membership to Fuse33 Makerspace and one certification workshop at no cost to them.
Submit by August 29, 2024 for this three month residency — it runs September 9 to December 4, 2024.

Dates to be aware of when signing up for this residency commitment:
- August 6 – 29, 2024: Applications open
- September 3, 2024: Artist selection
- September 3 – 7, 2024: Artist notification
- September 9, 2024: Initial A.I.R meeting (must attend) **
- October 28, 2024: Mid check in (must attend) **
- December 4, 2024: Final day to work on projects
- December 11, 2024: Art exhibit and intern selected
