North American Indigenous Games

Artist Fee: $1,200
Deadline: November 29, 2024

Opportunity

The North American Indigenous Games (NAIG) Host Society invites Indigenous artist submissions for the NAIG 2027 logo. The logo design for the NAIG 2027 Games in Calgary will reflect the dynamic spirit of athleticism, culture and unity that these games represent while honouring the deep connection to the local First Nations cultures within Treaty 7 territory.

Drawing inspiration from the Blackfoot Confederacy, Tsuut’ina Nation, Otipemisiwak Métis Government, and Îyarhe Nakoda Nations, the design will blend traditional symbols and modern elements to create a visual identity rooted in Indigenous culture. At the heart of Calgary’s identity and landscape, the logo will embody the strength, resilience and spirit of competition that echoes through the city’s history and the NAIG’s mission of fostering unity through sport and culture.
