North American Indigenous Games

We are excited to announce an opportunity to get involved in the 2027 North American Indigenous Games (NAIG). As we prepare to host this incredible event, we are seeking volunteers to join several key committees that will help shape its success and ensure that it reflects our cultural, athletic and community values.
Attached, you will find a detailed call-out outlining the different committees, which include:
- Elder Advisory Committee
- Youth Advisory Committee
- Arts & Culture Advisory Committee
- Athlete Advisory Committee
- Mental Health Advisory Committee
- Health and Safety Advisory Committee
We welcome applications from all professionals, community members, artists, sponsors, organizations, youth, elders and athletes — Indigenous and non-Indigenous alike — who are passionate about contributing to the success of the games.
Please express your interest by sending a letter to admin@naig2027.ca by 4pm, Monday, December 16, 2024, and mention the committee you are most interested in and your reasons for applying.
