Creative Producer Fellowship
National Arts Centre
Funding: Up to $30,000
Deadline for expressions of interest: December 4, 2024
Developed by the NAC’s National Creation Fund and Professional Development teams, the Creative Producer Fellowship equips producers (and people who love to make great art happen) with the opportunities, resources and skills to develop vital, culture changing performances and to establish sustainable careers.
We believe producers are critical catalysts for cultural change and deep community impact. We are seeking three ambitious people who share our belief in producing’s change-making capacity to join our inaugural Creative Producer Fellowship cohort.
The Fellowship takes place from January 2025 to January 2027. This is a part-time program with full-time moments. We anticipate that our Fellows will have other work and life commitments in place, and we will work with each Fellow to build a program that considers those needs.
The Creative Producer Fellowship is a fully funded, paid opportunity.
Each Fellow receives direct funding of up to $30,000 per year to cover their participation in mentorship opportunities, masterclasses, professional development sessions, and strategic industry networking. In addition, Fellows will produce their own independent projects (new or pre-existing), with the guidance and support of our team. Travel, accommodation, and per diem will be provided for work conducted away from the Fellow’s home community.
Each fellowship is bespoke.
We acknowledge that our Fellows will have varied individual professional needs, and we will rely on the potential of collective brainstorming, network-building, and strategic guidance to provide the most meaningful impact possible for each Fellow and the cohort. We are looking for fellows at a key turning point in their careers who are interested in co-creating high impact opportunities with us.
The program is open to English and French speakers.
