Enhance your writing projects by learning how to conduct research in this workshop for aspiring writers! Research matters in any writing project — and yes, that includes prose! Proper research and application of that research leads to more believable and engaging final pieces that will keep readers hooked.

In this two-hour workshop, instructor and president of the Alberta Playwrights’ Network Tereasa Maillie will cover basic research methods applicable to any writing project. Learn to conduct research into cultural, historical, and social contexts. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have the tools you need to develop believable characters and accurate settings in your own writing.
