Doreen Vanderstoop
Doreen sings, plays guitar and tells stories of all kinds in the ancient oral tradition. She performs at schools, libraries, seniors homes, festivals, parties, concerts, church gatherings, conferences, and other special events. She is a member of TALES (The Alberta League Encouraging Storytelling) and Storytellers of Canada/Conteurs du Canada.
Doreen’s short fiction has appeared in Prairie Fire Magazine and online at Montreal Serai, prairiejournal.org, epiphmag.com, and Alexandra Writers’ Centre, among others. Doreen recently signed a contract with Freehand Books to publish her first novel.
