Immigrant Services Calgary is delighted to announce that nominations are now open for the Immigrants of Distinction Awards 2020.

This year’s theme is Unleashing Potential, and we’re preparing to recognize the inspirational immigrants who have broken down barriers in Calgary for themselves and others. If you or someone you know matches this description, take a look at our award categories and consider nominating them.

The deadline to submit your nomination is December 1, 2019.

We acknowledge that the land we gather on, Mohkinsstsis, is the ancestral territory of the Siksikaitsitapi — the Blackfoot people — comprising the Siksika, Kainai and Piikani Nations, as well as Treaty 7 signatories, the Tsuut’ina Nation and the Îyârhe Nakoda Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney First Nations.
