My City Speaks To Me host shares his work and philosophy
What makes the world colourful? Lanre Ajayi, host of My City Speaks To Me, recently shared his work as part of a solo art exhibition in downtown Calgary.
“Today I am at the ATB Financial Branch for Art and Culture on Stephen Avenue,” says Ajayi. “Today is a special day to me and my family and to my wife, because I am celebrating my 15-year wedding anniversary today and also happens to be the opening night for my art exhibition entitled What a World Without Colours.”
Featuring the city’s highlife music maestro, Olu Rock Band, and Calgary’s own king of spoken word and poetry, Wakefield Brewster, tune in to explore why the world needs colour and why Ajayi injects it into everything he does.
