Summer Shakedown
Summer Shakedown, a four-day online dance challenge will feature 16 different instructors from all across Canada teaching classes in a form of dance, martial arts, and other movement methods!
The challenge is to complete all the classes in the four-day challenge and participants will enter a draw to win great prizes and giveaways!
We want to be part of helping to create a better future… by focusing on making an impact for our children and youth!
25% of the proceeds from the Summer Shakedown will be put towards a Movement Masters Scholarship Fund for underprivileged youth who cannot afford extracurricular activities. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for this initial event.
This is a grassroots initiative started by the Movement Masters team as our way of making an impact for our planet! We will be working directly with local families and allow the kids to choose their programs of choice.
The Summer Shakedown is also creating a positive fun impactful community of movers and groovers across Canada during these challenging times on our planet and to support dance artists and instructors who have also been impacted by lockdown!
Participants get the chance to experience a wide range of fun classes from some of the best teachers right in their living rooms live and online!
Choose from two different challenges, July 9 to 12 and July 16 to 19, 2020.
All participants need to do is set aside 1.5 hours each day to take two 45-minute live online classes a day!
The first class will be a low-intensity warm-up and that will lead to a more energetic dance-oriented class!
Each week will feature eight fun different classes for all levels!
(You will also get access to the recordings after just in case you miss any of the great classes!)
We encourage families to take classes with kids together!
