RISE UP Weekend
Tickets are now on sale for this not-to-be-missed live concert event in support of Calgary’s live music community.
Live, from the Big Art Drive-In at TELUS Spark, RISE UP Weekend is bringing Calgarians the 2020 summer music festival programming they have been missing.
RISE UP Weekend is brought to you by this open source platform that unites arts, hospitality, and tourism partners to develop a comprehensive array of initiatives and events to relaunch the arts sector. It focuses on building and promoting the best possible conditions for success for both audiences and artists.
From September 25 to 27, 2020, enjoy up to six safety-conscious concerts from the comfort of your car! Brought to you by your favourite Calgary presenters, concerts include programming from Calgary ReggaeFest, Stampede Entertainment, the Calgary Folk Music Festival, Music Calgary, Big Winter Classic, and the Calgary International Blues Festival.
Proceeds from each concert’s ticket sales go directly towards supporting the presenting organization an tickets are only $25 a car for up to four guests. A list of COVID-19 protocols can be found at bigartdrivein.com.
RISE UP is led by Annerin Productions, Calgary Arts Development, Calgary Economic Development, the Calgary Hotel Association, Jeff Parry Promotions, the National Music Centre, the King Eddy, Theatre Calgary, and Tourism Calgary.
