We are so excited to announce our new live-stream workshop: What is Media Art? The workshop will be held monthly on our new Twitch.tv page, Emmedia_YYC.
Every month will feature a different theme and an artist teaching a free workshop on that subject. To join in and chat live during the stream, simply make a Twitch account. If you would like to just watch, you will still have access to the live-stream.
For the month of October, we are kicking it off with projection mapping! Matthew Waddell and Laura Anzola bring EMMEDIA and company through the media art form known as projection mapping, the practice of projecting images onto unusual and interesting objects. In this two hour stream broadcast from the AZMA Digital workspace, we’ll get to see what it takes to make a projection come to life through Waddell and Anzola’s past works and a special exhibition of a new live creation.
