Green Fools is excited to announce that we are once again, participating in Shaw Birdies for Kids presented by Altalink (BFK). All donations made through BFK will be matched up to 50% and 100% of donations will go to Green Fools (no administration fees).
From Alberta to Africa, the Green Fools have been fostering circus and theatre since 1991. Co-founded by Artistic Director Dean Bareham, the Green Fools are passionate circus educators, entertainers, and artists. In the last five years, the fools have impacted over 14,000 kids through their circus programs, which develop confidence and social skills. Over 1,100 of those kids received free programming. We have also performed children’s theatre and street performances across the country. The Green Fools can also create unique event entertainment with their custom costumes, circus artists, stilt walkers, and more. The mission is simple: Help each kid believe in themselves.
COVID-19 has postponed the opening of the Green Fools’ newest project, STUDIO G, a circus school in southeast Calgary. However, in the interim, we have presented online workshops and developed a children’s TV show, Green Fools News. By supporting Green Fools through Birdies for Kids you are helping kids reach their fullest potential.
