Open Call for Treasurer
If you have a financial background and are enthusiastic and interested in volunteering along with Latin American artists, SpanicArts is looking for you!
SpanicArts is looking to fill the position of treasurer on our board of directors. This role is a voluntary position and will provide the candidate with the opportunity to gain experience working in a non-profit organization focused on Hispanic art and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up bank statement balances.
- A monthly maintenance of our membership program.
- Updating our business plan.
- Being part of the development of SpanicArts by sharing your ideas and knowledge during our monthly board meetings.
- Bookkeeping and financial reports.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar position or demonstrable financial background.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
Languages: Fluent English, Spanish is an asset but not required.
Time Commitment: Two to four hours per week.
