Be part of our experiment to see how art can change the world, and become a detective for facts and a warrior for the truth!
Disinformation Warriors is an online community project by Calgary Animated Objects Society (CAOS) that encourages media literacy and critical thinking in youth. Through education, research, and art making, we are dedicated to fighting false information spread deliberately, especially in the time of COVID-19.
Join us to sharpen your mind, be less gullible, and learn how to critically evaluate information through the youth content creators workshop. This art and science experiment consists of a free eight-part program for youth ages 13 to 18. The program comprises learning about science, technology and how to create animation related to COVID-19 topics, such as: Vaccines, face masks, mental health, how information spreads nowadays, and much more! In this program you will learn how to make your own cartoon or GIF, which will be featured on our website and other cool locations online.

The eight sessions run online via Zoom every Saturday from March 20 to May 8, 2021, from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
