Artists and Entrepreneurship
This conversation is co-hosted by Calgary Arts Development and Momentum.
Can a thriving art practice and forays into entrepreneurship coexist? Join a panel of working artists as they explore what it means to be a self-employed artist and the tensions they navigate along the way. We’ll discuss how business can be a platform to create more work, how self-story and values factor in, and how entrepreneurship can allow you to show up as your full self. Momentum will also share programs available to artists looking to generate additional income or start an arts business, and provide information about practical resources on saving and managing their money.
