The Beat Nook is looking for creatives, artists, makers and entrepreneurs to join and collectively build a community. There are three different ways of being involved, depending on your current path.
The Beat Nook is
A cooperative artist project seeking core artists to build the space.
You want to be a part of building something different. You have some time and resources to contribute. You are a mature and dedicated human, collaborative and will spearhead ideas.
What You Receive:

A Micro Event Venue
Seeking ongoing event partners and leaders.
You have ideas for events, gatherings and workshops. You want a unique space with creative freedom. You are excited by a DIY, bare bones, and casual setting.
What You Receive:
- Grassroots space for intimate gatherings
- Sliding scale negotiated financial contribution
- Creative autonomy
- Support for emergent ideas
A Community Flex Space, Seeking Working Creatives
You make things, you create, you work on your computer, you meet with people. You want a shared space where you will organically cross paths with others like you. Your practice is mobile and can be easily stored away during events in the space. You work well with others. You like a bustling atmosphere.
What You Receive:
- Shared work space for creatives, makers and entrepreneurs
- Sliding scale negotiated financial contribution
- Support for emergent ideas
- Building relationships with like minded folks

The Beat Nook is a part of Bonnybrook Junction, a collective of small businesses, artisans, artists, creatives, activists and entrepreneurs who came together to imagine and build the support and wealth of our community. The downstairs space of the warehouse is a vintage, midcentury and retro home decor space, a hairstylist corner, and a place for artisan made goods.
