Volunteers Assistance Required
Arts Commons is one of Canada’s largest and most vibrant arts centres. Located in the heart of Calgary’s Cultural District in the downtown core, the centre occupies a full city block and is home to five theatres and the world-class Jack Singer Concert Hall. Each year, the centre hosts over 1,800 performances and events, including live theatre, concerts, dance productions, readings, public forums, art exhibits, and much more – all open to the public. Arts Commons is the home of Calgary’s most innovative artistic companies and partners, and is proud to present and promote creative collaboration within our city.
We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with our upcoming charitable casino on Thursday, November 11 & Friday November 12, 2021, and we are hoping you can help!
Casinos are an incredibly valuable revenue generator for the organization, and are generally a fun way to contribute. If you are interested and available to take part, please let us know. We are hoping to fill both daytime (11:00am –7:15pm) and evening (7:00pm – 3:45am or 11:00pm – 3:45am) shifts.
Note On COVID Safety
Proof of double vaccination will be required from all volunteers. Elbow River Casino is participating the provincial Restrictions Exemption Program (REP) meaning they are also requiring proof of double vaccination for all casino patrons. Masks are to be worn at all times inside the casino except when actively eating or drinking and social distancing is to be observed where feasible.
