“The real focus of my artwork is the portrayal of music celebrity. It is my passion to examine the persona of the major recording artist through my visual medium and I have created many illustrations in celebration of them. Each album may include portraiture, still life, landscapes and other genres as I tell narrative stories to both reflect what I consider the true personalities of the artists, as well as perhaps bring an entirely new perspective to their story.” – Bethany Vanderputten
