Graphic Design Associate
Join our in-house marketing and communications team within a rapidly-growing Artificial Intelligence (AI) studio. You’ll have the opportunity to enhance our brand by creating impactful social media content, email marketing, web design, sales presentations, and internal communications. You’ll work directly with the senior designer to build your skills in problem solving, design thinking, message creation, data visualization, and user experience.
Note, this is a four-month paid internship, 20-40 hours per week from January – May, 2022.

What You’ll Do:
- Creating digital marketing collateral for quarterly campaigns within brand guidelines
- Illustrating, formatting and applying design best practices to presentations and reports
- Designing social media post visuals and contributing to post strategy (images, graphics and animations)
- Creating and modifying company-wide templates (Google G Suite and Microsoft Office apps)
- Creating and updating web pages using Umbraco CMS
- Conceptualizing and creating internal communications and event materials focused on culture building
What You Bring:
- At least two years of undergraduate education with a concentration in graphic design, communications, digital media, or a related discipline
- Proven proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- Social media savvy
- Solid foundational knowledge of G Suite and Microsoft Office apps
- Experience working with web pages; basic UI, HTML and CSS knowledge an asset
- Committed collaborator, who values the strength of teams and embraces direction and feedback
- Creative curiosity that drives learning and problem solving
- Excellent research, time management, and communication skills

What you’ll get
