Join Our Board
CARFAC Alberta advances best practices for all visual artists in Alberta through education, advocacy and engagement. We are a provincial arts service organization and part of the national network of Canadian professional artists.
We are seeking a few volunteer board members to start immediately. These new board positions would ideally include a second vice president (from outside the greater Edmonton area) and two directors who can help connect us to new communities throughout Alberta (culturally diverse and geographically remote/rural). We are a governance board with paid staff and we meet four times a year with functioning working committees in which all board members are expected to join one committee. Meetings are primarily held via video calls with an involvement of about three hours a month. Join us in helping to guide Alberta’s advocacy organization for visual artists, please submit an expression of interest by December 15, 2022.
