Website Designer
ACTA Press, a Canadian scientific and technical publishing company, is looking to hire an individual contractually part-time/full-time to work on our website redesign. The individual will be responsible for the front-end development of our website and will be a part of our team until the end of this project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with a back-end website developer
- Research website designs of other publishing companies
- Compiling current trends in website designs
- Designing graphics and art for our website
- Determining best set-up for new design of website
What you bring:
- Thorough understanding of current trends in website graphics and design
- Previous experience in graphics, web design, and art
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to complete work by set deadlines
