Riverona Ep 2: Yonder Window Breaks Auditions
You read it right! After taking the scene by storm earlier this summer, Full Circle Theatre is back with Riverona Ep 2: Yonder Window Breaks. A brand new script, inspired by Act Two of Romeo and Juliet and your favourite teen dramas, means that there’s also a new character.

As a part of Common Ground Festival, Full Circle Theatre is pleased to announce auditions for Lawrence, the Deep Friar. Come join us for auditions on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 (6 – 9pm) in the boardroom at the Morpheus Rehearsal Space (3512, 5 Ave. NW).
A high concept and hilarious retelling of Romeo and Juliet, Riverona has been described as Riverdale meets Wet Hot American Summer meets… well, Shakespeare.
Performance Dates: TBA, 1-2 performances between Nov 22 – 26, 2023
The Pumphouse Theatres Rehearsal Schedule starting October 23, 2023:
- Wednesday evenings, 6 – 10pm
- Sunday afternoons (either 12 noon – 4pm or 1 – 5pm)

We are looking for a passionate, fun actors of any age range to play:
Lawrence, the Deep Friar
Over 25, Open gender, open ethnicity.
Lawrence, known to some as Larry and other as The Deep Friar, is the owner and operator of the coolest hangout spot in town: a food truck in a parking lot also known as The Deep Friar which serves up fried goods and debatable advice.
Lawrence exists in a constant haze due to a substance that despite its legality, won’t be referred to on a primetime teen drama.
While it’s unclear if the character Lawrence or their Riverona actor is the one who’s faded, they’ve been a fan favourite of the series for many seasons.
Much like their original character, Friar Lawrence, the Deep Friar agrees to help wed our teenage heroes in hopes it will put to rest their parent’s strife.
