Arts and Culture Infrastructure Report RFP

Arts and Culture Infrastructure Report RFP

Request for Proposals Including Gap Analysis, Supporting Documentation and Recommendations

Calgary Arts Development is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to support the renewal of our 2007 Arts Spaces Strategy and Capital Plan. The RFP is intended to solicit meaningful responses from qualified consultants or consulting teams with proven expertise in data compilation and analysis, consultation with a diverse public, arts and culture infrastructure planning, and capital project development processes.

As the city’s designated arts development authority, Calgary Arts Development supports and strengthens the arts to benefit all Calgarians. We invest and allocate municipal funding for the arts provided by The City of Calgary and leverage these funds to provide additional operating resources to the arts sector.

The 2017 Arts and Culture Infrastructure Strategy and Capital Plan report and appendices will help ensure that the needs and preferences of Calgarians for arts and culture infrastructure are strategically met over the next decade by providing data analysis and recommendations regarding existing inventory, gaps in infrastructure and availability, and trends and opportunities to create, renovate, refurbish and sustain arts and culture infrastructure.
