My City Speaks To Me talks to Minister of Culture, Multiculturalism and Status of Women

Marking the month-long celebration with the Honorable Leela Aheer, Alberta Minister of Culture, Multiculturalism and Status of Women, and RJ Sigurdson, MLA Highwood, Lanre Ajayi swung by Leighton Art Centre to talk about what makes Alberta Culture Days so special.

“Every single community, it seems, has a really incredible specialty with things they are super proud of,” says Aheer. “They have gems, whether those are people or unique sculptures or particular backgrounds or scenery, within each of them, it would take me a day to describe so many of the things.

Tune into My City Speaks To Me to hear more about the celebration and why it is important for the province to honour it each year.
