Call for Session Proposals
Alberta Museums Association Annual Conference
The Alberta Museums Association (AMA) invites you to save the date for our 2020 annual conference! Join colleagues from across Alberta and beyond in Calgary from September 17 to 19, 2020, for Vital Operations: Museums and Organizational Sustainability.
The call for session proposals is now open. Registration details will be announced over the coming months.
Organizational sustainability is one of the most important factors affecting a museum’s operational capacity, potential impact, and long-term growth. Conference 2020 will explore the initiatives, strategies, and practices museums and cultural institutions are undertaking to build for the future. Delegates will examine how collections, programming, partnerships, exhibitions, leadership, and financial practices can increase organizations’ ability to thrive in changing and uncertain times.
Please view the attached document for the full conference theme and call for session proposals. More information about our annual conference can be viewed on our website, visit museums.ab.ca.
