General Theatre Auditions for 2024 – 2025

Vertigo Theatre, Alberta Theatre Projects, Lunchbox Theatre and Theatre Calgary will hold joint general auditions in Calgary on February 5 and 6, 2024. Representatives from each company will be in attendance. At this time, we are only accepting applications from artists who can make in-person auditions, with priority given to Calgary and Alberta locals.

To Prepare

Please prepare two contrasting monologues or one monologue and one song totalling no more than 4 minutes. If you are performing a song and wish to use a backing track, please bring it on a device with an auxiliary output to connect to the provided speakers.

How to Submit

The deadline for submissions is January 14th, 2024, at 12 midnight.

Successful applicants will be contacted to schedule an audition time. Of the artists selected to be seen, Equity members will be given priority scheduling.

Alberta Theatre Projects, Lunchbox Theatre, Theatre Calgary and Vertigo Theatre are members of the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres and engage professional artists who are members of Canadian Actors’ Equity Association under the terms of the Canadian Theatre Agreement.
