24-Hour Horror Filmmaking Challenge
Join us for a weekend of terror!
This Halloween season we are introducing our 24-hour horror film challenge. Can you make a film in only 24 hours and scare our pants off!?!
This event will be run entirely online (of course you will need to make the film in person).
Teams are given a horror genre, prop, and line of dialogue to use and will then have 24 hours to write, shoot, and edit their film. All films that are completed before the deadline and meet the guidelines of the challenge will be screened the same weekend online, and awards will be presented to films for best film, best use of prop, best use of line, best use of genre, and audience choice.
Can you do it?
Weekend Schedule:
October 16, 2020, 6:00pm: Teams receive all challenge material.
October 17, 2020, 6:00pm: All films turned into the society!
October 18, 2020, 6:00pm: We have a live screening of all the films that completed the challenge using our online system!
