Come play with paint, paper and possibility in this three-day immersive workshop with Nadine Johnson where we’ll dive into the world of abstract landscapes through the lens of mixed media. Inspired by nature’s shapes, textures and movements, we’ll explore how to break things down, build them back up and let our imaginations take the lead.
Using a variety of materials—paint, collage, mark-making tools and maybe even a few surprises—we’ll experiment, layer and play our way toward reimagining the land around us. From florals and fence lines to open fields and winding paths, we’ll look for the hidden poetry in the places we know and love.
This workshop is perfect for artists ready to loosen up, take creative risks and discover new ways of seeing and making. Expect to create expressive, textured pieces and leave with a renewed sense of freedom in your art-making.
