Alberta Music
The Alberta Music Travel Grant provides travel assistance to Alberta-based music companies, artists and individuals to support the growth and professional development of their careers. This pilot program supports activities in markets through both domestic and international showcases and tours, targeted and confirmed business meetings and collaborative songwriting trips.
There are two streams to this program. Before applying, please carefully read through the 2024 guidelines and the eligibility requirements of each stream.
APPLICATION DEADLINES
Open May 1 — Deadline: July 15, 2024 at 11:59pm MT
This deadline is for initiatives taking place between April 1 to July 15, 2024. Please see the next intake if your initiative falls after this time frame. Applications for initiatives outside this time frame will not be accepted.
Open July 2 — Deadline: October 31, 2024 at 11:59pm MT
This deadline is for initiatives taking place between July 16 to October 31, 2024. Applications for initiatives outside this time frame will not be accepted.
This pilot program is under review therefore no additional deadlines are available at this time.

The purpose of the Alberta Music Travel Grant is to provide travel funding assistance to Alberta music industry companies, artists and individuals. This grant is intended to support the growth and development of their business or Alberta based clients.
