Artistic Director
Spiritus Chamber Choir is inviting applications for a permanent artistic director. The artistic director reports to the board of directors and is tasked with presenting a high level and varied concert series, including newly commissioned works and collaborations with guest instrumentalists, vocalists and other ensembles across Canada. Each season, the choir typically produces three or four concerts in the Calgary area, each with its own repertoire. In addition, collaborations with other artists or ensembles, recordings, and tours both nationally and internationally are also considered. The artistic director is supported by a performance and marketing coordinator, a volunteer librarian and the volunteer board of directors.
This is a full-year contract position.
