Artstream Content Developer
Alberta University of the Arts (AUArts) invites contractors to work with the School of Continuing Education and Professional Development to develop course content for a Pre-Entry Academic Upgrading program to be delivered as an intensive summer program.
About Academic Upgrading at AUArts
The Pre-Entry Academic Upgrading Program is designed to provide a bridge to an art and design education for adults who do not meet AUArts’ academic and/or English proficiency requirements.
Content developers are need for the following areas:
- English language skills
- Academic upgrading
- Painting/Drawing paired with academic upgrading and English language skills
Successful candidates will have:
- Undergraduate degree in education, a related field or an equivalent.
- Knowledge about foundations literacy programs in English language, digital/technological literacy, study skills and/or building metacognitive skills.
- Minimum 1-2 years education teaching or training experience and developing course materials.
- Knowledge about accommodating different learning styles and working with literacy programs.
Compensation: Contracts are inclusive of all content development.
