About Edward
Edward has been dancing in Calgary for 20 years and keeps busy teaching hop hop, house, breaking, salsa and a merengue in many different studios around Alberta. Before moving to Calgary, he founded and was a member of the Panamanian dance group Fullstyle Family. It is one of the oldest breaking groups in Panama and continues to represent Central America’s Hip Hop Culture.
What We’ll be Doing
Our time together will be a fun, playful evening of dance and learning. Edward will be sharing the positive benefits and insights of social Hip Hop social dances as well as the rich history, struggles, and triumphs of this vibrant art form. We will explore how dance plays a role in body awareness, strengthens community bonds, and serves as a powerful tool for cultural integration.
