Billboard 208 Call For Submissions

TNG’s Billboard 208 call accepts proposals for solo and partner exhibitions, curatorial projects, and also considers these applicants for internally organized group shows. This space is designed to be a response to socially current happenings.

Exhibiting artists are offered a fee commensurate with CARFAC’s Fee Schedule under section B.4.6. These rates are updated annually, with 2022 fees projected to be $796.

When considering applying, please note that TNG is mandated to provide opportunities and venues for artists that foster social and political creative practices, while engaging and educating audiences through artist-run culture and contemporary art. Relevance to this mandate is a primary consideration for the peer jury during their adjudication process. Billboard 208 is especially suited for responses to current events and social discourse in the community and surrounding areas.

Please complete the following sections with care. TNG is asking for contact information, a brief proposal, an artist statement, and support material compiled in a single PDF.
