Box Office Coordinator
Responsible for all customer-facing activities related to in-person and online ticketing services for the general public as well as executing the internal processes surrounding processing ticket sales and memberships, both at the festival box office and on-site at any events.
Job Description:
- Supervising multiple aspects of the box office operations that include, but are not limited to, daily scheduling, directing and training of seasonal staff in conjunction with the operations manager.
- Understanding the box office ticketing selling platforms, including seating manifests, inventory controls, financial reporting, etc.
- Implementation of the Box Office policies and procedures designed by the operations specialist and the operations director.
- Assist operations specialist with hiring and development of training protocols and documents for seasonal staff.
- Analyzing customer and sales data.
- Resolving customer service complaints relating to box office operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1 – 3 years of ticketing experience and customer service.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, cash handling and scheduling.
- Self-motivated, capable of independent reasoning and troubleshooting.
- Possess the ability to work reliably and responsibly, both independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Direct experience supervising and organizing team members.
- Excellent organizational skills including the ability to multi-task.
- A high attention to detail and time management skills.
- Enthusiastic.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Approximate Work Hours
- July 16 – 31, 2023: 24 hours a week
- August 1 – 15 2023: 32 hours a week
- August 16 – September 15 2023: 40 hours a week
- September 16 – 31 2023: 45 hours a week
- October 1 – 15 2023: 16 hours a week
- October 16 – 31 2023: 8 hours a week
