We’re thrilled to announce that our Urban Art Conference is back this August kicking off the larger BUMP Festival. Now in its second year, our conference will be hosted for the first time at Contemporary Calgary. This conference brings together artists, cultural workers, designers, and urban thinkers for two days of bold panels, workshops and generative dialogue.
This year’s theme, Monuments & Memory, asks: What do our cities remember, and what do they choose to forget? In an age of transformation, displacement, and rapid development, our programming will explore how memory is built and who gets to build it.
