Call for Comic Book Writers and Artists
Deadline to submit: March 15, 2024
PARK (Promoting Artists Redefining Kulture) is seeking comic book writers and artists as part of a broader call for emerging and established artists of all disciplines looking to take part in public art installations around Canada in 2024. We are especially looking to work with writers and/or artists based in Alberta but we encourage all to submit.
As PARK undertakes projects of many varieties, we will reach out to you if we believe you could be a great fit for a project. This will be a paid opportunity.
Eligibility
Eligibility is open to all artists, age 18 and over, regardless of race, colour, religion, national origin, gender, age, military status, sexual orientation, marital status, or physical or mental disability. Artist teams are eligible to apply, including teams of artists from multiple disciplines.

Portfolio: Please submit a portfolio, link to your website or Instagram, or any other samples of your work.Bio: Key Information including a short biography, website, social media, and educational background.Mediums: Digital illustration, painting, or writing. Please specify if you have experience painting and/or illustrating, or only work in comic book writing.Contact Information: Email, phone number, website, social media handle.Location: Where are you primarily based, and where would you be open to work?
