Theatre Calgary is looking for local artisans to join us for our admission-free Indigenous Artisan Market at Arts Commons (205 8 Ave. SE) on April 26, 2025. This market is in celebration of the Opening and World Premiere of Sable Sweetgrass’s Awoowaakii, a comedy of errors about Chrissy Two-Guns, a Blackfoot transgender woman, whose estranged father shows up in her life again and mistakenly believes her friend Toni is actually Chrissy, leading to chaos and comedy.
We’d love to fill our space with local Indigenous artisans and makers like you. The market will run Saturday April 26, 2025 from 12:45 pm to 7:15pm in the Arts Commons Education Room just steps from The Big Secret Theatre, where our play is being performed.
There are 15 tables available.
Vendors can purchase a table for $30.
