Casino Volunteers Needed
CIFF is excited to announce our casino for 2023, taking place on July 12 and July 13, 2023, at the Elbow River Casino (218 18th Ave. SE), and we need your help!
CIFF relies on the support of our wonderful volunteers to make fundraising events like this a success, and we would love to see you there!
The shifts available are as follows:
- Wednesday, July 12, 2023; 11am – 7:30pm [Day shift] (cashier/chiprunner)
- Wednesday, July 12 and Thursday, July 13, 2023, 7pm – 3:30am [Night Shift] (cashier/chiprunner)
- Wednesday, July 12 and Thursday, July 13, 2023, 11:15pm – 3:30am [ Night Shift] (countroom staff)

If you are unsure or unable to commit now, we can also put you on a backup volunteer list.

In the most recent data at Casino fundraisers, each volunteer hour is equivalent to $300 — that’s amazing!
Volunteer Perks
As usual, free meals from the Elbow River Casino kitchen and taxi chits to get you home after your shift are provided to all volunteers. In addition to your meal, we will provide to free general admission tickets to the Calgary International Film Festival, to be used between September 21 and October 1, 2023.
