About the Show
Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella is the new Broadway adaptation of the classic musical. This contemporary take on the classic tale features Rodgers & Hammerstein’s most beloved songs, including In My Own Little Corner, Impossible/It’s Possible and Ten Minutes Ago, alongside an up-to-date, hilarious and romantic libretto by Tony Award nominee Douglas Carter Beane.
This is a story about following your dreams, fighting for what’s right and showing everyone that the real magic is kindness.
Audition Requirements
All auditioners are asked to prepare:
- One song that you love to sing, approximately 1:30 – 2 minutes long (musical theatre style, please do not sing a selection from the show).
- Please provide your own backing track via your phone, iPod, mp3 player, etc.
- Please ensure you are using a cut from your selected songs. If your song is longer than the specified time, we may cut you off due to time constraints.
- A speaker will be provided for you to play your backing track, there will be no accompanist in the room.
- Please fill out an online audition form, then choose an audition time on SignUp Genius.
- Auditions take place: Tuesday, October 4, 2022, 7 – 10pm
- Thursday, October 6, 2022, 7 – 10pm
- Saturday, October 8, 2022, 1 – 5pm
Callbacks: Saturday, October 15, 2022, 1 – 6pm
Auditions and callbacks will take place in person at the Morpheus Rehearsal Centre.
