Hours: 6 – 8 hrs/week during concerts

Volunteer Opportunity – Club Cashier (hybrid role)
Hey music fan! Are you organized, reliable and love live music? The Calgary Folk Club is looking for a club cashier to join our volunteer team!
Be part of a passionate community that’s been bringing world-class folk music to Calgary for over 50 years.
What You’ll Do:
- Help manage cash and card payments on concert nights
- Record sales, reimbursements and payouts
- Operate a point-of-sale system (training provided)
- Support the treasurer with finance-related tasks
- Be part of our legendary 12 concert events per season
Time & Location:
- 6 – 8 hrs/week during concerts, plus 1 hr/week between shows
- Some remote work + in-person at Dalhousie Community Centre
- Must live in or near Calgary
- Public transit accessible, but reliable vehicle is helpful

You’d Be a Great Fit If You:
- Have cash-handling or retail/banking experience
- Are friendly, organized and tech-comfortable (Google Drive, Zoom, etc.)
- Can work independently and with a team
- Can commit to the full season
