Position Type: Student Summer/Fall job contract
Pay: $20 per hour
Trickster Theatre is looking for a costume creator/designer for the summer. The successful person will be able to make simple yet robust and effective class sets of head gear (like animal bonnets, lizard head pieces etc.) for school kids that we work with. Some designs will be provided as well as some new ones created. The work will also include repairs on existing props, costumes and curtains, as well as some sourcing of costumes and props. The work will be partly on site at our office and partly remote. The successful candidate will be great at a sewing machine and glue gun and have a creative eye for detail. The successful candidate must be 30 years of age or younger as this is a Canada Summer Jobs position.
The position can start immediately. It is an 8 week position at 35 hours per week @ $20 per hour, plus 4% holiday pay and stat holidays.
